Car congestion, a challenge for public transport

In the north-west of the Île-de-France region, car congestion is a major obstacle to the fluidity of public transport. To remedy this problem, Île-de-France Mobilités has launched the ambitious “Bus Entre Seine” project.

Objectives of the Bus Entre Seine project

The “Bus Entre Seine” project aims to improve bus services between the Bezons bridge (Tram T2) and the stations at Argenteuil (Line J), Sartrouville (RER A and Line L), and Cormeilles-en-Parisis (Line J). The project includes 8.2 km of dedicated bus lanes, the creation of safe cycle routes and new public spaces, while preserving the existing tree network.

Our AMO missions

In collaboration with setec its, our mission is to manage the operation and provide general assistance for the project. A crucial part of our role concerns communication and consultation. With the support of Sennse, we organized consultation workshops in Bezons and Argenteuil last March to involve local players and integrate their needs and constraints.

A commitment to High Environmental Quality

Île-de-France Mobilités and ourselves share the ambition of creating an environmentally-friendly project. A detailed analysis of the objectives has been carried out, and concrete actions have been identified to achieve this ambition. We will ensure that these objectives are rigorously respected.
