The Seine–Nord Europe Canal consists of the construction of a 107 km river infrastructure between the Oise and the Dunkirk-Escaut Canal, on the North Sea-Mediterranean Corridor. It is the central link in the European Seine-Escaut priority project. The work includes the construction of a Vb gauge canal between Compiègne and Aubencheul-au-bac, the construction of transhipment quays and the prefiguration (quays and earthworks) of 4 multimodal platforms for various activities (logistics, industrial, tourism, etc.) as well as the construction of 6 locks, a 1.3 km canal bridge, a 14 million m3 water reservoir basin. In addition, the project is being carried out within the framework of a sustainable development procedure and a “Major construction site” approach.

In partnership with Royal Haskoning DHV, setec organisation oversees project management and supports the project owner in the project’s execution. The mission spans the 12 years of the project and includes three main areas:
