The Philharmonie de Paris Association undertook the construction of a musical facility centered around a large concert hall with 2,400 seats in the Parc de la Villette.
Primarily designed to host large symphonic ensembles, the Philharmonie de Paris, designed by Jean Nouvel’s architectural firm, will also feature other forms of musical expression, such as jazz and world music.
The 20,000 m² facility includes, among other features, a large concert hall, foyers and rehearsal spaces, administrative offices for several orchestras, an educational center, exhibition areas, and a restaurant.
The project of the Philharmonie de Paris aims to achieve excellence in every aspect, including acoustics, accessibility, and environmental impact.
